1. Selection according to the nozzle diameter: Generally speaking, the height of the floor should not exceed 80% of the nozzle diameter. For example, when using a 0.4mm nozzle, it is recommended that the maximum floor height should not exceed 0.32 mm.

2. Adjust according to the purpose:
-For functional parts, the floor height can be appropriately increased to speed up printing;
-For the exhibition model or fine model, a smaller story height should be selected to obtain better visual effect.

3. Consider the material characteristics: different materials have different adaptability to the height of the story. For example, PLA material is suitable for thinner floors to obtain good interlayer adhesion, while ABS and other materials can maintain good strength at higher floors.

In slicing software (such as Cura, PrusaSlicer, Repetier, etc.), users can enter the required value in the "Layer Height" option.
